This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is all-new. The main difference between it and all other Camry models is that it has a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain that is able to provide exceptional fuel economy. The Camry Hybrid also benefits from the 2007 Camry full redesign, as well.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, efficient hybrid powertrain, stronger acceleration than many regular four-cylinder family sedans.
Cons:
  • More expensive than most other Camry styles, small trunk.

  • Great Car and the hybrid is a bonus!!! - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Great car, lots of features, very high tech, build quality 2nd to none! Traded my 2006 Hyundai Sonata on this and am so glad I did!

This is easily the best car Ive ever owned (Ive been driving Acuras for the past 10 years). It is good looking, extremely comfortable, and packed with every safety feature known to mankind. Handling is accurate and acceleration adequate for anything but the Indy 500. Mileage is outstanding, better than anything except the Prius and Civic Hybrid. I have found the EPA ratings to be quite achievable. In my opinion saving gas is a compelling civic duty.

I have only had this car for a few weeks and my wife and I love it! We were on the waiting list for almost 2 months but it was worth the wait. The instant MPG feedback is great and we really like the keyless start. Now my wife doesnt have to take the key out of her pocketbook in order to start the car. The bluetooth phone system is also great. With a touch of a button we can call or answer a phone call. Our model is fully loaded so it came with the NAV. We are finding the NAV to be a little temperamental and the maps are not up to date. I was surprised it did not come with fog lights and seat position memory would have been nice. The mirrors also do not fold. Overall - we love it.

  • Awesome - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

This car has exceeded all expectations. I drive to maximize mileage, live in upstate NY where I am getting about 33 during the winter, 40 during the spring and fall and 36 in the summer. Because of the battery, truck is limited but fine for us. Absolutely amazing vehicle. Can run on battery at 40 mph and under and will almost always take advantage of electric when necessary.

Bought this car for my retirement. Wanted reliability, good gas mileage, low maintenance costs and comfort. This car has met every expectation. I buy gas once or twice a month, gets 35 mpg without effort, 40 mpg on hi-way or if I work at it. I change the oil every 5000 miles. ItÂ’s comfortable to drive. Only complaint is, original tires lasted 30K miles. Everything works as good as the day I drove it off the Lot.

  • My experience with a hybrid - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Exceptionally fun car to drive. Extremely good gas mileage from 38 to 43 mpg on the road. Approximately 90% of the mileage on this car was highway miles. Has extended 100 thousand mile warranty on the vehicle and tires.

Nice car. Everyone should have a Hybrid! But dont be shafted by the dealer. Camry disappointing in interior quality of components and trim that doesnt match in color and alignment. SHAME on you TOYOTA! And the damn beeper they have beeps at everything you do. GET RID OF IT. Center console too bright at night time. But quality in trim is seriously lacking. Stone Mountain Toyota, GA ripped me off, so beware and dont go near that place. The are "under new management" every other month. As a Hybrid the vehicle is fine and economical to drive for sure. Economy button for the A/C is UNDER the dashboard! WHAT were they thinking??? Brand new car needs an interior redesign already.

Except for pickup and power which I am accustomed this car is great for local driving. It leaves a lot to be desired when driving in the mountains.

  • Love my hybrid - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

My hybrid rocks! I average 32.5-36 MPG in mixed driving over numerous foothills. And thats with aggressive, always first off the blocks, fastest on the highway driving. With highway trips, I will easily exceed the max 40 MPG average on the dash readout, especially when I adopt more hybrid-like driving habits, i.e. drafting large trucks, timing stop lights, and not speeding.

  • Best car EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid
    By -

Hands down the best car I have ever owned! I put 60,000 miles on it in two years and have not had to do a thing except change the oil, and that only has to be done every 6,000 miles! Just had it in the dealer for normal service and they told me the brakes look new!!!!! How is this possible. GO BUY ONE AND IT WILL BE THE BEST CAR YOULL EVER OWN.
